Mitchell M Musial

Mitchell Musial has been practicing law for over 25 years in patent, trademark, copyright, corporate finance and related litigation.  Mitchell is a registered patent attorney, licensed to practice in the state of Michigan, admitted before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and in patent cases before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  Mitchell began his legal training at the largest and oldest IP law firm in Michigan where his work was split between patent prosecution and litigation.  Prior to founding Mitchell M Musial, PLLC, Mitchell served as in-house counsel at Eaton Corporation where he was responsible for day to day legal support for Eaton’s research activities in Milwaukee, WI and Southfield, MI, including handling patent coverage on electrical power management devices and transmissions, clutches, and hybrid drive systems.  As a patent attorney at Energy Conversion Devices, Mitchell was part of a team that completed a joint venture with Baotou steel, a Chinese state owned corporation, to manufacture batteries in China.  Mitchell was responsible for drafting patent applications in the field of rechargeable nickel metal hydride batteries, photovoltaic devices (solar cells , read-write optical media and the electromagnetic physics based manufacturing devices therefor.  Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, a Juris Doctorate, and a Master’s of Laws in Corporate and Finance Law (LL.M).
